Biodynamic Breath Therapy
BioDynamic Breath Therapy was developed by world-reknowned therapists Anand Devapath and Anand Dwari, following Wilhelm Reich, Alexander Lowen and Stanislav Grof.
Biodynamic Breathwork is a body-oriented therapeutic approach that efficiently and effectively releases trauma and tension from the body. It uses the breath as well as bioenergetic movement to help people tap into their subconscious and unconscious mind in order to uncover patterns of behavior, gain insight and release blocked energy. The use of the breath promotes a profound state of well-being and expanding consciousness. The approach uses the power of the breath and innate healing of the body to help people heal and grow.
Bioenergetic Exercises
Bioenergetic exercises –– designed by Alexander Lowen –– target different emotions and areas in the body where people hold tension. These exercises are specifically designed to break through tension and emotional patterns in the body, layer by layer, all the way to the core. They help get clients more present in their bodies and more aware of the energy moving through them, in order to create more movement, connection and freedom of expression.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of plant-derived, aromatic essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being. When inhaled, the scent molecules travel inside the nose where they stimulate olfactory nerves and eventually parts of the brain that result in a variety of physiological and psychological effects. They can also be applied as a rub, massage, in a bath, as a compress and many other ways depending on the need. Aromatherapy is a branch of herbal medicine and is used as a part of a holistic treatment approach.
Complementary Approaches
Biodynamic Breathwork integrates the experience of meditation, bioenergetics and breath. The combination of all these powerful modalities helps people access much deeper parts of themselves. What you can expect from a breathwork session is deeper awareness of yourself and your body, a shift in consciousness and an overall feeling of well-being. |
